Technology for Sustainability & Profit
As populations grow globally, so does the need for accommodation. We need 345,000 new houses every year in England alone, but what about the cost to the planet?
Construction and the built environment make a considerable contribution to greenhouse gas emissions. There is more to carbon-offset measures than planting trees, however. Sustainable construction methods and materials reduce the environmental cost immediately, while smart buildings deliver long-term benefits.
What about the financial impact? Does building green need to put you in the red? What if sustainable construction could protect both the planet and your bottom line? Eco-friendly buildings demand a premium on the market and your green credentials can build your brand a loyal following.
The British Polish Construction Forum 2021 will focus on how to build profits while building sustainably.
On our panel, we bring together great minds from the construction industry, academia and business to explore these questions and give us the answers.
We will hear about the latest ideas and technology developments in green construction and biomimetics, where buildings steal the best ideas from nature.
Crucially, we want to know the secrets to green business growth.

Who is it for?
This is a PBLINK Construction Network event, open to all.
The network was set up to help Polish construction firms to cooperate with UK businesses and to build effective networks. The group comprises everyone involved in the construction supply chain, from general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, developers, building materials manufacturers and importers to commercial & residential estate agents. The network meets regularly in London & Online to discuss issues and events of importance to the industry.
How to Participate
Due to social distancing rules, this year the Construction Forum will take place using the Online Webinar tool Zoom. The event will last for 3 hours and comprise 3 important parts: Keynote Speech, Panel Discussion & Networking.
The Keynote Speech and Panel Discussion will give opportunities for everyone to take part and contribute to the conversation via the Q&A box. In addition, we will organise matchmaking and networking sessions after Webinar to help you to build meaningful business relationships.
Participation in the Panel Discussion and Workshops is free of charge. We charge for facilitation of the networking part with a limited number of tickets available. In addition, paid-ticket holders will have access to all webinar recordings and delegate lists.
