About Workshop
Social enterprise is like any business, sells a product or provides a service, employs paid staff, pays its taxes and files accounts. But instead of the profits going to a few individuals/shareholders, they are reinvested back into the business to create social and/or environmental impact.
In this session you will find out:
- What is Firstport and how do we support start-up social enterprises?
- What legal structures are suitable for a social enterprise?
- What funding is available to start a social enterprise?
- What other support is available?
