We are excited to announce that Kasia Madera, a BBC news programme anchor will be our guest at the first webinar in the series ‘Success starts with inspiration’. Normally Kasia is the one conducting the interviews but in this unusual role reversal, we will be asking questions relevant to the WBL’s community.

We will ask about Kasia’s:

• Journey to becoming a journalist recognised in many countries.
• Who is her role model?
• How does she combine motherhood with her work?

Special Guest

Since 2002 Kasia has worked across most BBC News output, specialising in international news, especially European affairs.

As well as anchoring the BBC’s live news programmes, Kasia also fronts feature programmes as part of BBC Global’s Country Direct series.

Kasia is an active member of London’s Polish Community and was honoured for her work in promoting Polish culture by being given the Maciej Płaźyński International Journalism Award. At the Polish Embassy in London Kasia was named as the Honorary Ambassador of Polish Women in the UK.
