Can your business afford not to talk about Mental Health in the workplace?
Join the discussion about a healthy workplace and hear why businesses can't ignore the subject of mental health.
In 2019/20, stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 51% of all work-related ill health cases and 55% of all working days lost due to work-related ill health (source: UK Statistics HSE).
According to Mind Charity, around 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem this year, yet the shame and silence can be as bad as the mental health problem itself. Your attitude to mental health could change someone's life.
During this event, you will hear from Maciej Klinowski, Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner. He will discuss the following:
- Moral, legal and financial reasons for managing mental health and wellbeing at work
- Employer's responsibilities
- The current situation, UK statistics and post-pandemic outlook
- Practical tips on how to provide support within your business
